In France, the Teragir association, which is already active in a number of notable environmental programmes, is overseeing the deployment of this label, highlighting Appart'City's ongoing commitment to exemplary environmental practices, appealing to responsible travellers concerned about the impact of their stay on the planet.
International Criteria for the Green Key
The Green Key label is based on demanding criteria and can be adapted to different types of tourist establishment, covering all aspects of environmental management, such as environmental policy, energy, water and waste management, responsible purchasing and the living environment. Appart'City has been committed for several years to making its aparthotels environmentally friendly, as part of an approach based on sustainable and responsible tourism. By 2023, almost half of its properties had been awarded the Green Key label, the leading international environmental label for tourist accommodation and catering.
